  • Our mission at YachtRacing.tv is to promote sailboat racing by getting more attention for sailboat racing in the sailing media, and traditional media. We win when media outlets get more eyeballs. If we are doing something that takes away from your media business — we want to learn about it and fix it.

  • If you are a creator, we want you to get the credit. We are taking pictures, videos, and writing things when we can’t get true creators to do it. We do not intend to be a competitor to creators. We dream of a day when there is ample content for every event without us having to create any of it.

  • We are recruiting sponsors that we think are new to sponsoring sailboat racing. It is our intention to bring new money into the sport. We are consciously working to avoid a situation where we are just rearranging the money already in the sport. We need sponsor money to pay for the production of awesome media. Each event will be different of course, but the amount of sponsorship will drive the quality of the media. We know we are not SailGP, but we (not so secretly) want to have imaginary grid lines on live video someday.

  • We view the initial batch of events as a pilot. We are trying to learn as fast as we can and if we learn fast enough, we will be adding more events to the calendar and we will keep going. Please let us know what we can be doing to help you (media pros) be more successful. We depend very heavily on your success.
